biography

Born in 1985 in Arkhangelsk, Lora Zyuzina is a ceramic sculptor currently living in France. With experience as a leading fashion designer in Moscow, she transitioned to ceramics, focusing on the exploration of self-determination and self-expression through the concealment of identity. In her works, Lora fills the space with images and words, creating an informational and meaningful field. Lora holds a Master’s degree in Arts and Design from the A.N. Kosygin Moscow State Technical University and studied ceramic design at the Stroganov Academy.

She participates in biennials and international exhibitions, including the 2024 CICA l’Alcora, and the Ceramics Biennial at the Manise Museum. She has held both solo exhibitions, at the L Galerie and at the Armenian contemporary art center NPAK, and in groups, notably at the Moscow Cosmocow exhibition in 2023, or at the Winzavod center. Currently, she is a member of the agency of artists in exile.
