biography
Grace Nitoumbi was born in 1998 in Kracow in Ukraine, to Congolese parents. Her family was forced to leave Ukraine in 2014. She studied industrial drawing at the Academy of arts and design in Krakow. Having been a target of racial discrimination, Grace and her brother left Ukraine for France in 2017. She is a member of the agency of artists in exile since 2018. Grace has acted in plays such as On comprend rien! of Gaël Chaillat and Ariel Cypel, Disparu·e·s by Judith Depaule in the 2019 visions of exile festival as well as in the play Piment dans les yeux by Simon Grangeat, directed by Marilyn Pape in 2020. She is a member of the agency of artists in exile.
