biography

Born in 1983 in Abidjan in Ivory Coast, Issouf Ganame, alias Zaef, is an comedian. He started as a taxi driver in Abidjan, then in Libreville in Gabon, where he was always making jokes and trying to make his clients laugh. He learnt a lot with Omar Defunzu and appeared in various festivals and TV shows, where he won awards. He participated in writing Taxi Sagat and Kongossa Télécom TV series for Canal+ Africa and TV5 Monde. He arrived in France in 2016 and acts under the name of Zaef Le Sans Papiers. In August 2019, he created his show Il fallait bien que quelqu’un le dise. He is a member of the Agency of artists in exile.
