biography
Born in 1995 in Gatchina, Russia, Tanya Prystavka is a visual artist and ceramist. She holds degrees in fine arts from Herzen University and in contemporary ceramics from the Stieglitz Academy in Saint Petersburg. Her artistic practice lies at the crossroads of object, space and sensory experience.
She takes part in art projects and group exhibitions in Russia and Europe, notably at Nikola-Lenivets Art Park, where her installation Stuck in Textures was nominated for the Sergey Kuryokhin International Prize in the “Art in Public Space” category.
Since 2022, she has pursued her artistic career in France, taking part in various residencies, notably in Lisbon and the south of France. Her work has been shown in institutions such as the Moscow Museum, the Triumph Gallery, the Moscow Museum of Decorative Arts, as well as in Paris and Barcelona. She is now a member of the agency of artists in exile.
