Tatiana Efrussi

Born in Moscow in 1988, Tatiana Efrussi is an artist and researcher based in Paris. She works with various mediums, drawing inspiration from the grey areas of historical narratives, personal and collective memory, the invisible lives of women, and their creations. In her paintings and prints, she taps into the vocabulary of folk art, Slavic illumination, and naive painting. Tatiana Efrussi studied art history at Lomonosov Moscow State University, video and new media at the Rodchenko Art School in Moscow, and fine arts at the École Nationale des beaux-arts in Paris. She holds a PhD in architectural history from the University of Kassel, Germany. Since 2022, she has been a Atelier des Artistes en Exil member in Paris.
