    biography

    Born in 1998 in Moscow, Russia, Pavel Polshchikov is a multimedia artist. Graduating in 2022 from the Rodchenko Art School in Moscow, he works with graphics, sculpture, video and fabric printing. Before leaving Russia in 2022, he was co-curator of the independent workspace for artists “IP Vinogradov”. He presents his work in solo exhibitions such as Elevator Litany. Fast Hiss, Stockholm, 2023; Hiding the Yellowcake at Objectcommunity, Tbilisi, 2023; and Red Order: footprints in the snow, Off-site, Moscow, 2022. His practice explores the visual representation of knowledge and power, as well as the sacred and profane. He is a member of the Agency of artists in exile.
