Olga Kitaeva

Born in 1993 in Russia, Olga Kitaeva graduated from the Saint-Petersburg State Conservatory in 2015. She specialized in contemporary dance, opera, music theatre, and community art. As a choreographer, Olga staged over ten operas and music performances in different theatres, including the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre, the Mikhailovsky Theatre, and the Azerbaijan Musical Theatre. In August 2023, she choreographed the opera Fête Galante, Ensemble Utopera, Berlin. In 2022-2024, Olga worked for the Perform[d]ance company, Stralsund, Germany, where she released diverse community art projects. She is an experienced dance teacher. She has been working with people of different ages and backgrounds and has experience working with people with special needs. As a performer and co-creator, she has been working with interdisciplinary artist Daria Panteleeva, including the last projects Je suis, Nixa, and Outsider_in. In 2024, they presented the exhibition Presence at the Cite Internationale des Arts in Paris. She is a member of the agency of artists in exile.
