Olga Kitaeva

Olga graduated from the Saint-Petersburg State Conservatory in 2015. She specialized in contemporary dance, opera, music theatre, community art, and dance dramaturgy.
As a choreographer, Olga staged more than ten operas and music performances in different theatres including the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre, the Mikhailovsky Theatre, the Azerbaijan Musical Theatre, etc. In August 2023 she choreographed the opera Fête Galante, Ensemble Utopera, Berlin. In 2022-2024 Olga worked for the Perform[d]ance company, Stralsund, Germany, where she released a diverse range of community art projects applying the method of instant composition as a base for the creative process.
Furthermore, Olga is an experienced dance teacher. She has been working with people of different ages and backgrounds and has experience working with people with special needs.
As a performer and co-creator, she has been working with interdisciplinary artist Daria Panteleeva, inc. last projects “Je suis”, “Nixa”, “Outsider_in”. In 2024 they presented the Open Studio exhibition “Presence” at the Cite Internationale des Arts.
