biography
Born in 1980 in Omsk, Siberia (Russia), Jurate Schunyavichute is a filmmaker, music video creator, and artist. After studying fashion design, she moved to Moscow in 2005, where she worked as a production designer. In 2015, she continued her training at the Moscow School of New Cinema (MSNC) and founded her label TELOREMA in 2019, dedicated to creating music videos, experimental films, and collages. Since 2022, she has participated in international exhibitions and festivals, including at the Elohovskiy Gallery in Moscow (2023) and the Canopy Space in Paris (2024). In 2023, she moved to Paris, where she received a Fellowship residency from the Institut Français and continues to develop her work. She is also a member of the agency of artists in exile.
