Issarti Ali

Born in 1967 in Aferkat, Morocco, Ali Issarti is a Sahrawi singer, composer, and musician. He started singing from his earliest age, he learned guitar in self taught and became a professional from 1983 with his music group Ahel-Ettarab. He made concerts in the community youth club and arts center from his neighborhood and in north Africa during festivals and weddings. He arrived in France in 2016, he did multiple concerts, especially with Claude Mangan in the aim to defend her husband’s cause, who is restrained by force in his native country. He is a member of the agency of artists in exile since 2021.
