biography

Born in 1990 in Kramatorsk, Ukraine, Elizaveta is a Russian actress and director who has worked in documentary, narrative, and experimental cinema. During her studies at the Saint Petersburg School of Cinema, she collaborated with Anastasiya Zinovieva on a series of masterclasses and intensive workshops focused on narrative and experimental filmmaking, with which she participated in the production of the film War.2022. She also teaches directing, specializing in actor direction. After her studies, she worked as an actress at Teatr.doc and contributed to the production 24 Plus, directed by M.Y. Ugarov. Elizaveta is the initiator, actress, and performer of a feature film based on an immersive experience in Armenia, where the environment itself becomes part of the set, shaping the spatial boundaries of the shoot. This film offers a documentary study in which fictional characters are integrated into a space-time reality with the surroundings. In 2022, she worked on a major project with documentary director Anna Savchenko and the Belgian production company Playtime Films, exploring the issue of the death penalty in Belarus. She has been a member of the Artists in Exile workshop since 2024.
