Daria Panteleeva is a Russian-born artist. She has staged over 25 productions at different theatres, including the Mariinsky Primorsky Theatre, Mikhailovsky Theatre, and Azerbaijan Music Theatre.

She wrote various screen adaptations, plays, and original librettos as a playwright. Some of them were included in shortlists of international competitions. Her poems have been published in poetry collections.

Also, she created the audio promenades in the Moscow public garden “Hermitage”, and 3D site-specific audio performances in the Norwegian Arctic in collaboration with the Havnemuseum.

Daria Panteleeva is professionally engaged in video art, photography, performance and creates audiovisual installations. 

In 2023, Daria created several audio-visual installations and experimental films in Germany and Norway. Among them are the audio-visual installation “Outsider_in” (Berlin, 2023), the visual poem “Ikke smelter” (Berlevåg, 2023), the experimental documentary film “Born to be…” (Cologne, 2023).

In 2024, she created the exhibition “Visibilité: L’amour et la fierté LGBTQIA+”; she was the curator and one of the artists (Reforum Space.Paris). She also held the exhibition “Presence” as part of an open studio at the Cité International des Arts (Paris). In October 2024, she showed a textual documentary performance “Exclusion Zone” at the Pouch Gallery for the opening of the exhibition “Censorship”.

Since 2022 she has been living permanently in Europe.​​

Currently a resident of the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris (2024).
