Born in 1975 in Brazzaville in the Republic of Congo, Morgan Banguissa is a percussionist and singer. He made his debut with the group Langui in 2004, bronze medal winners at the 5th Jeux de la Francophonie and finalists for the Prix RFI in 2008, touring Canada, Belgium, Santo Domingo and the Marché des arts du spectacle in Abidjan. He performed as support act for Richard Bona, Zaou and Youssou Ndour alongside Fanny Fayar. He has written for Dieudonné Niangouna and DeLaVallet Bidienfono, notably for Au-delà, which was performed at the Festival d’Avignon and on a number of other French stages. He took part in the À part ça, tout va bien album by Arcade Ladis, and gives workshops in artistic practice. After arriving in France in 2014, he is now a member of the Agency of Artists in exile.
