Born in 1977 in Leningrad, USSR, Anna Abrashina is a painter and human rights activist. She graduated in 2002 from the Stieglitz National Academy of Art in St. Petersburg and the Beaux-Arts de Paris in 2003. In 2002, she was the laureate of the international LVMH La Figure competition dedicated to Jean Dubuffet. Anna Abrashina is also an illustrator and graphic designer who works with oil painting and engraving. Her works have been exhibited in various locations in France, including the Fondation Dubuffet, Galerie du Pont Neuf, and the Forum de Blanc Mesnil, as well as in St. Petersburg at the Center for Restoration of the Hermitage, the Stieglitz State Art School Museum, the State History Museum, and the Manege. She conducts art workshops for individuals with mental disorders. Anna Abrashina arrived in France in 2022 and joined the Atelier des Artistes en Exil.
