biography

Born in 1978 in Arkalyk, Kazakhstan, Aian Seitkozhin is a singer and musician. He graduated from the Magnitogorsk State Conservatory (Russia) with a specialization in double bass, and from the National Academy of Culture and Arts in Chelyabinsk (Russia) as a lyrical countertenor. From 2004 to 2005, he was a double bassist with the Kostanay Regional Philharmonic Orchestra in Kazakhstan before fully dedicating himself to lyrical singing. He has performed in works such as Ruslan and Lyudmila by Glinka, Faust by Charles Gounod, and Gloria by Vivaldi. He is a music, double bass, and piano teacher. He left Russia and gained exile in France in 2019. He became a member of the atelier des artistes en exil in 2024.
