Agency of Singular Investigations – Anna Titova & Stanislav Shuripa

Agency of Singular Investigations (ASI) is a collective that explores the field of expanded documentality. Founded in 2014 within the Fabrika art studio in Moscow by Anna Titova and Stanislav Shuripa, Russian artists and teachers based in Paris. ASI is interested in the re-designation and appropriation of contemporary visual logics and narratives, through documentary and fiction. Titova and Shuripa teach at the Moscow Institute of Contemporary Art, of which Shuripa is the rector. He is also a member of the editorial board of the Moscow Art Magazine.

ASI’s work has notably been exhibited at the 1st Warsaw Biennale, the 5th Ural Industrial Biennale of Contemporary Art, the 1st Riga International Biennale of Contemporary Art, the 1st Garage Contemporary Art Triennale, and Manifesta 10. ASI is a member of the Agency of Artists in Exile.
