    Born in 1982 in Syria, Amer Abazid is a director, producer, and editor. After graduating in 2008 from the University of cinema and television of Saint-Petersbourg, he directed and produced TV shows (La civilisation arabe, Des histoires de personnes, 2010; Yamam wa Yamama, 2010-2011; L’histoire du poème, Les poètes arabes, Pulse Nucléaire, 2010-2012). He he heads the production department of an educational TV channel in Damascus (2008-2012) and worked as a director and journalist for :24 in Abu Dhabi (2014-2016). He arrived in France in 2017, is a member of the agency of artists in exile and runs filmmaking workshops with unaccompanied minors.
