biography

Born in 1986 in Leningrad, Vadim Khokhriakov is an author, actor, performer and musician. A graduate in art history and literature, he has performed at the Nordwind (Hamburg), Barents Spektakel (Kirkenes), Artprospect and Critical Mass (St. Petersburg) contemporary art festivals. Recipient of a grant from the Garage Museum in Moscow, he acted in the films Polar Shanghai by Olga Zhitlina and One Night in Social Network (Chto Delat collective).

He works as an actor at the Alexandrinsky Theater in St. Petersburg and as a musician (accordion and piano), accompanying theatrical and performance creations. He is the author of the books Amitié sous-marine and Contes d’hiver, published in Russia. In France since December 2022. He is a member of the Agency of Artists in Exile.
