    biography

    Born in 1991 in Medina, Saudi Arabia, of Palestinian nationality, Duaa Qishta is a visual artist. Since 2015, she has practiced painting, sculpture, photography, video, and installation as a self-taught artist, seeking to denounce the conditions of her life in Gaza. She arrived in Paris in January 2020 for a residency at the Cité internationale des arts. She has been a member of the Agency of Artists in Exile since June 2020 and participated in the exhibition Un confinement à l’autre at the Pavillon Carré de Baudoin (Visions d’exil Festival 2020).
