Born in 1992 in Kabul, Afghanistan, Marina Golbahari is an actress. She began her career at the age of 4 and played in 18 different films until 2014. Due to political reasons, she was forced to leave her country, and in 2015, took refuge in France. After spending 6 months in one of the country’s migrant camps, she received an invitation to attend the Cannes Film Festival in 2016. She played in the 2017 film Tomboy. In 2018, the movie Away from Kabul was made from her experience.
