Born in 1988 in Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Brunel Mangani is a visual artist. He graduated from the Kinshasa Academy of Fine Arts in 2012, and works on the themes of immigration, family relationships and connection between people, using painting, sculpture and installation. His work was shown in 2008 at Dimension plurielle exhibition at the Centre Wallonie-Bruxelles in Kinshasa; in 2012 at the Soko Soko exhibition at
the Centre culturel français in Kinshasa and the Galerie Brazzaville in the Republic of the Congo; and at the Imago Mundi exhibition in Treviso, Italy. In 2013, he exhibited at the Alpha Cadres gallery in Pointe-Noire in the Republic of the Congo and took part in the Universal Exhibition in Dubai in 2021. Arriving in France in 2022, he is a member of the Agency of artists in exile.
