Ava Shitik

Born in 1997 in Norilsk, Russia, Ava Shitik aka Augustine is a singer, composer and choral conductor. She studied at the Norilsk College of Arts and the Institute of Theater, Music and Dance. She composes her own pieces and performs in concert. Since 2019, she has been leading a solo musical project, AUGUSTINE, with which she performs at festivals (Gamma Festival, M division, Black Coat) and collaborates with Levi’s 5:01 and Jagermeister Night Embassy brands. She plays at Sobaka.ru, Popoff Kitchen, Horovod and is supported by media such as BBC, i-D, Calvert Jornal, Wonderzine, Xtra, O-zine, Dozhd. She has been a member of the Agency of Artists in Exile since 2024.
