biography
Born in 1998 in Moscow, Russia, Andrei Kariakin is a visual artist, photographer and musician. He graduated from the GITR film school in Moscow and the Rodchenko art school specializing in photography in 2022. The same year, he continued his training in France at ENDA, the national art school in Paris, in 2023. At the same time, Andrei Kariakin becomes involved in music as a producer. He takes part in several group exhibitions, including RUBEZH: LIBERTY at PLUR in Bishkek, Timely Hours at MAMM, the Multimedia Art Museum, Moscow, the festival of photo book and zine Razvorot at the Architect’s House in Voronezh in 2023, and Knot at the History and Art Museum in Elektrostal in 2022. He also shows his work in a solo exhibition He’s Always There at the Rodchenko Art School in 2020. In 2022, he leaves Russia for France. He has been a member of the Agency of Artists in Exile since 2023.
