Born in 1971 in Moscow, Russia, Vladislav Ketkovich is a film producer. He graduated from Moscow State University with a degree in teacher training and attended the Higher Courses for Screenwriters and Directors in Moscow (2007). In the 1990s, he worked in the field of visual anthropology, organizing expeditions to Asia, Africa, and the Amazon, publishing documentaries in National Geographic and other media. He received support from EuroDoc, Ex-Oriente, Documentary Campus Masterschool, and EAVE (2017), and has produced and co-produced over 30 films with various European countries (City of Glory – City of E, 2019; The Zimov Hypothesis, 2021; Ivanna’s Life, 2021; The Case of New Greatness, 2022; The ‘Real Face of Russia’: Women Who Take Dangerous Stands on the Streets of Saint Petersburg, 2022; Inside Putin’s Russia, Divided by Its War: A Soldier, an Artist, and an Actor Speak Out, 2023; A Shaman’s Tale, 2024).

The films he has produced have been screened and awarded at major festivals (IDFA, CPH:DOX, Hot Docs, Zurich, El Gouna, Krakow, DokLeipzig, DocAviv, Shanghai) and broadcast on ARTE, ZDF, WDR, BBC, MDR, ORF, YLE, SVT, VPRO, Czech TV, and The Guardian. Heading his own production company in Russia, in exile he works as a creative producer for the French company Little Big Story, where he develops his projects. He left Russia after the start of the war in Ukraine and has been a member of the Agency of Artists in Exile since 2022.
