Pavlova Anna

Born in 1987 in Moscow, Russia, Anna Pavlova is a dancer, dance teacher, and choreographer. She practices classical, contemporary, and improvisational dance, as well as historical European dance. She trained at the Dunkan Moscow Dance School and the Escola de Dansa Carles Ibanyes i Padro in Barcelona. She has danced with The Crown of Russian Ballet Company and the Imperial Ballet Dance Company.

Holding a PhD in History and Social Anthropology, she combines her artistic practice with a deep reflection on dance and its evolution. She conducts dance workshops open to all audiences. After Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, she settled and now works in France. She teaches at the Académie de Danse Passion et Formation in Meaux and is a member of the Agency of Artists in Exile.
