Konaté Yacouba

Born in 1980 in Côte d’Ivoire, Yacouba Konaté left his country in 2010 and spent four years in the Choucha camp in Tunisia. There he began singing and composing, performed concerts, and recorded his first album, Renaissance. In France since 2016, he provides musical accompaniment for screenings of the film Choucha (in which he is one of the actors) by Djibril Diallo and Sophie Bachelier. He performed with Moriba Koïta at the Solidays festival in 2016. He is a member of the Agency of Artists in Exile, where he founded the group Wary.
