Born in 1997 in Uruzgan, Afghanistan, Abdul Hamid Mandgar is a director and screenwriter. He graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts at Kabul University, and his films tell personal stories drawn from his own experience, from the day he left Afghanistan up to the present. He has made several short films (Biscuit, 2017; Ghazal, 2018; Colorless, 2020; Ronaldo, 2022; Le portrait d’Hamid, 2024; Abri, 2024; Je t’ai déjà vu, 2024). He has been a member of the Agency of Artists in Exile since 2021.
