Vorontsov Slava

Born in 1987 in the village of Tazovsky, in the Tyumen region of the USSR. Slava Vorontsov specialized in graffiti street art and tattooing, before turning to the creation of clothing and album covers. He also directs and produces music videos. He released 15 solo hip-hop albums and 20 video clips. He studied a diploma of musical studies in piano (2006) and then did a master in the Moscow Academy of Intellectual Property (2009). He has done multiple individual exhibitions in the Faux Galerie, Paris (2023), in the artistic residence of Garage museum, Moscow (2020) and in Squat de Milyutinsky, Moscow (2018). He has also participated in collective exhibitions like the Soupe collective, Paris (2024), the Be-In Forum, Moscow (2020) and the WIP Yauza, Moscow (2019). Forced to leave Russia, he arrives in France in 2023, and concentrates on painting. He works on large formats, inspired by religious subjects, the themes of war and peace, as well as emigration as a refugee. He is a member of the agency of artists in exile since 2023.
