Marienko Maryna

Born in 1999 in Pokrovsk, in the Donetsk region of Ukraine, Maryna Marienko is a multidisciplinary artist whose pseudonym is Kayoorin. Passionate about Japanese culture, her artistic practice focuses on graphic design, installation and collage. She studied at the Kharkiv School of Fine Arts from 2017 to 2021. In 2022, following the Russian invasion of Ukraine, she arrived in France. In the summer of 2022, she created an illustrated book about her life in Ukraine during the war, La souffrance de ma terre. She presented her performance at Parcours 333 as part of the Visions d’exil festival at La Gaîté Lyrique, Paris, in 2023.She is a member of l’atelier des artistes en exil.
