biography

Born in 1996 in Wardak, Afghanistan, Atefa Hesari is a screenwriter, director, actress and visual artist. She began her career in the theater, playing in particular in Scheems of Quaseem, based on Les Fourberies de Scapin by Molière, Where is my favorite planet, based on Le Petit Prince by Saint-Exupéry or Le Cid by Corneille. She is producing her first exhibition “Safed Sar” in 2019. She wrote and shot two short films: Safed Sar and Awratina. Arrived in France in August 2021, she is a member of the workshop of artists in exile. She was welcomed by the Centre dramatique national de Montreuil, attended Alain Guinzburger’s classes at the Conservatoire A.Mozart in Paris, workshops directed by Jacques Vincey, Guilda Chaverdi and entered the international class of the CNSAD. She participated in the project Mnémonique by Judith Depaule during the Festival d’Avignon 2022.
