As part of the second edition of the Visions d’exil festival at the Palais de la Porte Dorée – Musée national de l’histoire de l’immigration -, l’atelier des artistes en exil is launching a call for animation short films projects aimed at young audiences with animators of all origins.

These films must follow the same theme as the festival: portraits of exiles, on the way to exile or already arrived. It is a question of building an educational programme “You, it’s me”, aimed at the youngest to familiarise them with the question of the Other, the reasons for migration, the trials of exile, the difficulty of forgetting traumas and finding one’s bearings in a foreign land. All techniques are possible.

Film submission deadline: October 1st, 2018.

Send your films to festival@aa-e.org with a biography and the date of creation of the film. Please specify if it is a creation or if the film has already been screened and, if so, where it was shown. Old films are not excluded.

Screening: November 4th, 2018 at 3 p.m. in the auditorium of the National Museum of Immigration History
