exhibition « Sang »

29.05.2021 30.05.2021
6 rue d'Aboukir, 75002 Paris

Each month the agency of artists in exile transforms into an art gallery to focus on some artists about a topic. For the first rendez-vous , the exhibition «Blood» includes artworks of Mahmoud Halabi (Syria), Kaveh Kavoosi (Iran), Yannos Majestikos (DRC), Hura Mirshekari (Iran) and Omar Nossirat (Syria).

Red does not accidentally converge in paints, installations and performance of Mahmoud Halabi, Kaveh Kavoosi, Yannos Majestikos, Hura Mirshekari and Omar Nossirat. It’s the red of promises,  violence, hate. It’s the red blood which springs, splashes, flows and spreads. Blood of victims. Blood of impure bodies, of devastated countries by revolution, of wars where we don’t recognize ours, of power’s abuse, of women convicted to death like animals. In Iran, Lebanon, DRC, Syria and elsewhere.
