Tatiana Proskuryakova is a dancer and ballerina. She was born in Dnipro, Ukraine, in 1983. At the age of 10 she started ballet at the Dnepropetrovsk Opera and Ballet Theatre and her professional performances began at the age of 15. She graduated from the choreographic school at the Opera House and also graduated with honors from the Dnipro City University of Art and Theater. In 2009, she obtained her master’s degree in choreography with honors at the Kharkiv Academy of Culture. She also worked for a long time for the Opera Dnepropetrovsk where she gave dance classes and participated in festivals and competitions with her team.

In 2017, she received a grant to direct a musical about the Ukrainian-American singer Kvitka Cisyk. It premiered in the fall of 2017 and was performed in 5 Ukrainian cities with a ballet, singers and orchestra. In 2020, she was the director of a theatrical concert of French music at the Dnepropetrovsk Opera and Ballet Theatre. In 2021, she was the choreographer of the children’s performance “Beauty and the Beast.” In addition, since 2018, she has been the head of the public organization “Teatralne merezhivo.” She has been a member of l’Atelier des artistes en exil since April 2022.
