    • biography

    Born in 1985 in Sevastopol, Ukraine, Oleksandr Stoianov is a photographer and video maker. Graduated in ocean technology and shipbuilding from Sevastopol Polytechnic, he attended several photography trainings in Kyiv, Moscow, Saint Petersburg and Kuldiga. He will participate in the festival of contemporary photography in St. Petersburg in 2019 and in the exhibition Nonsense in Moscow in 2021. His film They Saw Stalin (2022) was screened at Changing Perspectives festival in Turkey, 17 days video serries in the US, DokuBaku IDFF in Azerbaijan and Wiz-Art inUkraine.
