biography

Born in 1989 in Tunis, Tunisia, Sim Marek is a graffiti artist, painter, visual and tattoo artist. As a teenager, he covered the walls of his city with graffiti. In 2012, he participated in the 10th edition of the Spring of Arts Fair in Tunis with his first artwork Kefer, which created such a controversy that he decided to leave the country. He fled to Ukraine where he continued audiovisual and cinema studies. He promotes his urban creations through his YouTube channel, started tattooing, applied his research on typography to fashion by launching his own streetwear brand, and presented his work in local and international graffiti and street art festivals. He arrived in France in 2017 and became a member of the agency of artists in exile. He exhibited his project Divinités at the Lalalande gallery and marched with a suit made with garbage during the festival 4,3,2,1… at the jardin du Palais-Royal.
