    Born in 1989 in Moscow, Russia, Egor Shevchenko is a director of fiction and documentary films. He studied law and philosophy. Trained at the School of New Cinema in Moscow and at the Fresnoy – National Studio of Contemporary Arts, his documentary and hybrid films deal with social issues, particularly immigration. He is completing a film on Ukrainian refugees. He is a member of l’Atelier des artistes en exil.
