Sasha Veles et Sasha Greda

Born in 1995 in Cheboksary, Russia, Aleksandra Ostrovskaia is an immersive theater and performance director and scriptwriter. In 2017, she graduated in journalism from Moscow State University. In 2022, the artist organizes anti-war art events in support of Ukraine. She produced and filmed the performance “Bucha Moscow” following Russia’s Bucha genocide. She fled Russia for France.

Born in 1994 in Novomoskovsk, Russia, Aleksandr Greda is an actor, director and performer. He studied drama at the Most Theater in Moscow and the Nizhny Novgorod Theater School. In 2022, following his “Bucha-Moscow” performance in reaction to the Bucha massacre by the Russian army, he was identified as an opponent of Putin’s regime. He fled Russia and became a member of the workshop in exile.
