Born in 1996 in Kazan, Russia, Alisa Safina is a performer and visual artist. She studied computer engineering, then philosophy and sociology. She plays and performs at the Doc Theater, at the Meyer hold Center and at the Gogol Center (Questioning: who are you?), and tries her hand at scenography and staging. She participates in group exhibitions (Festival Forma and IMDArt gallery in Moscow, Smena gallery in Kazan). An anti-war and anti-regime activist, she fled her country. She is a member of l’Atelier des artistes en exil.
