    Born in 1962 in Zhukovsky, USSR, Igor Osipov is a pianist-composer. He studied at the Musical Institute of Electrostal and the Jazz Institute of Pushkin in Moscow. As a member of the governmental organization Roskontsert, he performs in the USSR and abroad. He is an expert in acoustic piano tuning and repair. He has undergone a lifelong quest to be in communion with nature, which he considers a source of energy for music. Jazz embodies the principles of this alignment, and it is through this style that he articulates his experimental research and instrumental practice. He also plays as a member of the Lamma Orchestra.
