biography
Born in 1978 in Sar-e-Pul, Afghanistan, Atila Noori is a photographer, director and film maker. After studying history, he worked as a journalist for various Afghan media including World Mirror Television. He also works with international media such as BBC, AuxusTV, AFP, etc, as a freelance journalist.
At the same time, he is interested in theater and cinema. He directed more than sixty plays, participated in national festivals and co-founded the radio station Radio Arghavan as well as a news website that is still active. He arrived in France in 2021 following the Taliban takeover and is a member of l’atelier des artistes en exil.
