    Born in 1990 in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Magloire Mpaka is a visual artist, photographer and video maker. He holds a degree in visual communication from the Kinshasa Academy of Fine Arts. His work focuses on the history of his country and on its colonial past, with archives playing a central role. In 2022, he took part in the Kinshasa (N)tóngá exhibition at KANAL – Centre Pompidou in Brussels, followed by an artistic residency with Mega Menguedi at the Cité internationale des arts in Paris. He is a member of the Agency of artists in exile.
