Meredow Gurbangeldi

Born in 1950 in Dashoguz, Turkmenistan, Gurbangeldi Meredow is a painter. He studied at Sourikov Institute of Arts in Moscow where he worked as an assistant before settling in Achgabat to open his own workshop. He has exhibited in the Soviet Union, Turkmenistan, Holland, and Iran. His pieces are part of private collections in the United States, Russia, Kazakhstan, Japan and Turkey. He has lived in France since 2018.
