biography
Born in 1998 in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Hugor L’enga Kingo is a painter. From an early age, he took part in an art workshop and was taught by Congolese master Kasongo. Marked by his country’s violence,
he painted The Massacre of Innocents as part of a group exhibition, but his picture was immediately taken down by the authorities. Threatened, he decided to flee and embarked on a 2-year journey to France, where he arrived in 2020. He became a member of the Agency of artists in exile.
