Kontar Sara

Born in 1996 in Mosrata, Lybia, Sara Kontar grew up in Syria. She is a photographer and animator. She did her first year of studies in architecture in Latakia before leaving her country in 2015 because of war. She arrived in France in February 2016 and completely dedicated herself to her art. She studied at the National School of Decorative Arts in Paris and got specialized in animation cinema. She finished her first Master’s year and wrote a dissertation: Here, there and in between, which talks about her experience in Syria and during her exile. She is a member of the agency of artists in exile.
