biography

Born in Moscow, Russia in 1988, Kir Esadov grew up in a family of circus performers. At the age of 19, he became interested in photography. He graduated in psychology from Moscow State Pedagogical University in 2008, and enrolled at the Rodchenko Art School in 2011. His work can be found in private collections in Russia and abroad, and in the collection of the House of Photography in Moscow. In 2015, the Dostoyevsky Photography Society named him one of the fifty best contemporary photographers in Russia and Ukraine. He is one of the 100 emerging Russian artists in the InArt project presented at the Blazar contemporary art fair in 2022. He is a member of the agency of artists in exile.
