Jarwah Mario

Born in Aleppo, Syria in 1990, Mario Jarwah practices figurative sculpture and drawing, as well as photography, graphic design and general design. In 2008, he joined the School of Fine Arts in Aleppo to focus on sculpture and molding, but the war put an end to his studies. He works mostly in clay and plaster, directing his inspiration on social justice issues, specifically the war in Syria, poverty, suffering, and marginality. He decided to leave his country for France in 2017, and entered the Beaux-Arts in Paris in 2018.
