biography

Born in Bogota, Columbia, Amari Natura worked all her life in production and artistic creation and dedicated her life to the fight for women and indigenous rights. She moved to Venezuela when she was 12 and took dancing lessons at the Instituto Universitario de Danza (IUDANZA) and singing lessons at the Instituto Universitario de Estudios Musicales (IUDEM) from 2005 to 2008 (UNEARTE). She participated in different cultural events to help young people through difficulties in Columbia, Brazil, and Equator. She worked on indigenous traditional culture and was inspired by their dance and traditional music, which she uses in her artistic performances. Since 2007, she is a jahlfaomega music singer. An engaged activist, she fled to France in 2017.
