biography

Born in 1982 in Hong Kong, Lok Kan is a performer. She studied at the Academy of Performing Arts in Hong Kong, at the International Theater School Jacques Lecoq and at the Theater School Philippe Gaulier in Paris. She is practicing dance, theater and puppets. She participated to puppets and theater shows in Hong Kong and at the international, particulary in The Brides Reloaded (theater) in Spain, Winter in sweetyland (puppets) in Hong Kong, C’quoi C’cirque at the Théâtre de Verre in Paris. Artistic director of the Ash Theater in Hong Kong and associate artist with the David Glass Ensemble, she taught theater and puppets art. As an activist from the hong kong protest, she found refuge in France in 2020 and she became a member of the agency of artists in exile.
