biography

Born in 1969 in Kerjoria, Sudan, Jamal Eldin Ahmed is a painter. He studied art in Khartoum but the political situation forced him to interrupt his studies and join free expression groups. In 2007, he fled to Turkey and then to Greece. He remained in Athens for 8 years, where he took part in an environmental movement while he worked with a refugee center. In 2015, he left for Germany and arrived in France in 2016. In 2017, he participated in the exhibition Searching for Freedom at the Montgallet animation center in Paris. He is a member of the agency of artists in exile.
