biography
Born in 1983 in Taungû, Myanmar, Kyar Pauk is a multidisciplinary artist. He graduated in dentistry from the University of Yangon in Burma, served as singer, songwriter, and guitarist for the Burmese alternative band Big Bag for 22 years, and founded the music label Bipolarbear Records. He coached on the first three seasons of The Voice Myanmar from 2018 to 2020. He has published several books and comics, and exhibited his paintings in group and solo shows, such as Liberated Zone at Suvannabhumi Art Gallery in Chiang Mai, Thailand (2022), and The Travel of Hope at Heartspace Gallery in Chiang Mai (2023). Arriving in France in 2023, he is a member of the Agency of Artists in Exile.
