Born in 1983 in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo, Trésor Matameso, known as Papa-Divin, is a comic book artist, colorist, painter and draftsman. A graduate of the Kinshasa Fine Arts School, he teaches drawing, aesthetics and philosophy. He is a member of the Bulles Africaines collective, exhibits at the Institut français of Kinshasa and is awarded several prizes. He published a poetry collection (Rose ou Morose, 2012) and two comics (Les Larmes rouges and La vie n’est pas toujours ailleurs, 2018). He participates in the exhibition “Kinshasa Chroniques” at MIAM in Sète and at the Cité d’Architecture in Paris (2018-2020). He has been in France since 2019.
